Staging

The stage of a cancer refers to how much it has grown and whether the tumor has spread from its original location. There are five stages of cancer: stage zero to stage four. Stage 4 is considered the most advanced stage of cancer, meaning it has spread in the body. As part of the diagnosis process, several tests help evaluate the cancer stage. Identifying the extent of you cancer can help your doctor determine the best course of treatment for you.

Second Opinions

A second opinion can be a game-changer for patients. While it is rare for a diagnosis to change from malignant to benign, a second opinion may reveal other information. Our team verifies whether your staging is correct, your tumor size is correct and your overall assessment is correct. All of these factors can affect which treatment options you are offered.
