My appointment was on time, I had a very good visit with my doctor, Dr. Gorak. I don't go for another visit for one year unless I have a problem. ????????. I am very thankful for the good care I receive at MD Anderson. I do go for a port flush every eight weeks and that department has been excellent also. I thank everyone involved in my care.

When I visit MD Anderson, greeted with such pleasantry from the ladies at the desk registration. They make you feel as if you're the celebrity of the day. And addition, upon stepping from the elevator on the 6th floor, I'm read it again with pleasantry. The ladies at the desk are always professional with an awesome smile. My Wait is never long. As the nurse cause my name once again pleasantry, I don't know if they've been watched by camera or they just so nice and professional. I'm doing well taking care of at MD Anderson, I wouldn't trade this walk with any other hospital I've experienced other hospitals so I know the difference between really knowing your skill or searching for answers. At MD Anderson Dr. Gorak has a special gift, I believe his gifts have found him and placed him at him MD Anderson. I feel strongly that the decisions that are made in reference to my health are competent decisions. I've never seen or being exposed to such awesome people not to mention the nurse practitioner Cheri. Cheri exhibits confidence and she is always there to listen to come up with a conclusion. Well I can go on and on but I'm going to stop right here. In conclusion, I am very pleased with the staff at MD Henderson. Take a bow

My questions are carefully considered, and my treatment needs have always been met at my visits. My phone calls are quickly returned, and my concerns have been addressed, either remotely, or in person, because the staff will do their best to make appointments for me to see my doctors who order labs and imaging, as needed, when I experience new symptoms. My doctors' staff are professional and kind, and my practitioners are extremely knowledgeable. I have complete faith in them and in Baptist MD Anderson, which is why I choose to drive nearly 5 hours for every appointment and will continue to do so moving forward. I will highly recommend this facility and its providers to others that might be in need of medical care.

Had to provide ALL of my data twice in same appt. Once with the financial team and again after my appt with doctor. PLUS, no portal access to my test results due to a transition to my chart. I was told a link to the current portal was emailed to me, but it was not. Also, I made it clear that my Ferritin was low from last lab work 5 weeks earlier, yet my follow up appointment not set until a full month. I have iron deficiency anemia and these test results are time sensitive. My first time to MD Anderson was very disappointing.

The physicians, their nursing, support staff, and social workers have been extremely professional and caring. They have all established a personal connection with me and I felt a level of comfort that I had not experienced at previous facilities. My test results were explained to me in an understandable way as well as my treatment options moving forward. The facility was hygienic and the waiting rooms were inviting, even soothing. The physicians listened to my concerns carefully, and answered all my questions. I also received a timely response to all my phone inquiries, which was impressive. Everyone has gone the "extra mile" for me, which has helped to relieve my stress during this challenging journey. I look forward to a continued relationship with my physicians and with Baptist MD Anderson Jacksonville. I feel as though I am in the best hands possible.

The intake was very efficient, the person was very professional and explained the process. Visiting your facility is not the most pleasant because of the unknown. It can be stressful as you most be aware. But the faculty is attentive, the doctor was reassuring and explained what to expect. I (we) left with a better understanding of what to expect and now to wait for test results.

EVERYTHING! From the check in process, to the view in the waiting area. Once I went back for treatment, the peacefulness, the AWESOME view, the Nursing staff. They took great care of me. They fed me a sandwich, and chips, and juice. It was so comfortable and felt like a home, away from home. Nurse May was a doll! I would like to have her every time I come. She explained everything to me. Eventhough they didn't have extra headsets for the TV that had real channels. I cannot count that against them. It was truly a beautiful experience.

Dr. Gorak, and I suspect many others in the system have little knowledge of how much the drugs they are prescribing cost the patient. In my case Xaralto. I recommend some materials be put into the computer system showing the price comparisons that are available on line between the various brick and mortar stores and the on line sites. (The price differences are SIGNIFICANT. As well as the additional even lower prices available through the free services such as Single Care and GoodRX, even with Medicare. Prices are always changing, but a snapshot in time of the most used drugs, brand and generic, would give the docs and PAs some knowledge to give to patients. And it could be seen online and printed out by the patient and care givers.

Every single person that works in that building truly cares about the patients. Every person you walk past that works there says good morning, hope you're doing ok and have a nice day. Dr. Gorak and his team are excellent. He eased all my feelings I had inside about chemo. Dr. Amad did my biopsy and him and his staff are phenomenal. Dr. Gusani who I had my first consultation with did not waste a second getting a biopsy. His staff is also awesome. Everyone has been fabulous, and I cannot say enough good things about Baptist MD Anderson. They truly are a bunch of caring people who go above and beyond every single day for the good of the patients.

Excellent experience from setting the appointment with Josh, to new patient registration with Florana and the exceptional visit with Dr. Gorak and Pamela. Greatly appreciated the time Dr Gorak invested in my understanding of condition. He asked great questions and shared advice that I found trustworthy and confident. I rated the experience a 10 because that was top of your list. By far, it as far above a 10 and exceeded my expectations. Went to 6 th floor and was told they could not find my paperwork and to go to 1st floor to register. They could not find paperwork on the1sr floor and was told to go up to 6th floor (again). I told the agent I had already been there and was told to go to 1st floor. Apparently someone cancelled my appointment. Was taken back to see one of the managers Diana. She realized what had happened, apologized, and tried to expedite paperwork so I would be able to see Dr Gorak who also apologized. Returned to complete paperwork and Diana apparently tracked the problem as human error. No surprise by the time I saw the Dr, my BP was elevated . I thought I would not be able to see the dr after waiting several weeks fir appointment, had returned early from a trip, and driven from the beach that morning.

From parking to receptionist and medical staff a wonderful experience. Have experienced other cancer centers which make you feel like a number where as MD Anderson makes you feel loved. Everyone was caring and helpful , unfortunately, a lady in the registration whom I saw on my first visit mentioned about the patient???s portal but doesn???t know where to find it. Then, I went to lab after seeing MD and was not seen for 45 min or so when there were only 2 people ahead of me and already left and the lab tech were calling people who just arrived.

The experience was positive from the beginning with Josh Davis, the scheduler, Warren , the financial advocate onward. I thought Dr. Gjorak was welcoming and interested in my case but more importantly inmate as a person. His medical plan was well explained. Everything. The MDA lab is the best, and spotless as the entire building is. The Phlebotomists are precise and the process is always painless, which is so much appreciated. The facility is beautiful The office personnel were extremely accommodating to set me up as a new patient. The visit with Dr, Gorak was very good. He sought out questions and did his best to explain what he saw in my blood work. He also explained why he was taking additional blood tests t\o try and determine the root cause lof my Issue. He was not an alarmist but presented a clear and logical plan moving forward. The only thing that caused me not too give a 10 rating was that the 1145 appointment wound uo being a one hour wait to get too the Doctor's office. I understand that Doctor's time is precious but the pre visit office times could have easily been done in 30 minutes.
