Robert Jewell Wilson II, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic oncologist who specializes in benign and malignant soft tissue and bone tumors and metastatic bone disease. About Me
I grew up in rural Idaho and spent the past three years as an assistant professor of orthopedic surgery in Philadelphia. My wife, who is an endocrinologist, and I have two young, energetic boys. I enjoy playing with my children, golfing, fishing, reading, watching sports and engaging in family activities.
Being a cancer surgeon is my calling. I am completely dedicated to my work and I understand how important it is to my patients and their families. I love that my job requires a focus and intensity that is immersive.
I look forward to creating informational events in Jacksonville to educate patients about sarcomas and help raise needed funds to eradicate cancer. My wife and I are also active through our church to give back to the community.
