  Everyone I encountered had a great attitude! Everyone I saw on team was helpful and caring. In a situation that was stressful, the good attitudes helped you relax.   Staff professional, always sweet and caring. However I will tell you, the new method of blood draws sucks. Since this whole day of chemo blood draw has began, things are always backed up. You guys need to review how it???s set up. Example 1-I drive over for blood work at 10am. Chemo scheduled at 12. Lab gets backed up, I don???t get in for chemo til 2, and it???s a three hour time frame! 2-get my draw, wait an hour ormore

  I like the personalized care, how clean and warm the environment is, how sophisticated the tools are from the rolling computers to garbage receptacles. Everything In the facility looks like someone cared enough to know first impressions are in the smallest of details . I observed everything. And my first , second, and third impressions were that this is. A place that cares for its staff , the front lines and behind the scenes so that they, in turn, can care for the patients. The nurses , CNAs, chaplain were wonderful, smiling, efficient, compassionate, and clearly devoted to the work. These people genuinely know what purpose they serve. I am grateful everyday for the treatment and care by MD Anderson. I am a patient but I???m also a fan. Thank you!

  I truly enjoy the whole experience. The facility is the best hospital arena I've ever been in. State-of-the -art, clean , many places to stop and rest. There are even places to sit out on observation decks, and a huge/gorgeous arboretum to sit in. There???s no noise within the whole facility, it's SO NICE. The staff are all superb, very professional, kind and even those unrelated to your department visit take the time to greet you with a nice "hello." I don't like the way I feel after chemo (the medicine makes me feel very bad for a few days afterwards). However, the treatment experience is absolutely fantastic! I feel like I'm home with my own family- they are all courteous, professional, and I feel like they genuinely care about my wellness. I dread the days when going in for chemo, but those feelings of dread are gently replaced with feelings of calm and peacefulness once I get to the 9th floor chemo department. They are truly and genuinely warm, professional caregivers.

  I had a very unique type of cancer, that was unfortunately twice botched by a surgeon who was not qualified for this very difficult procedure. Unfortunately, the damage was done by the time I found Dr Nowicki of the Gynecological Oncology Department. He and his colleagues reviewed my case to be sure no further measures were required. I was reassured that he was a top expert in this field and I would be fine. When I came back for my 1year check up, we agreed that he should do another surgery to remediate the quality of life issues I was having due to the prior surgeries. He did an excellent job and I am so grateful! He has been a true lifesaver and my only regret is that I hadn't found him first.

  I have disabling chronic illnesses that put me at high risk for long term COVID complications. So I wear a mask, and request doctors to wear a mask, too. But I was told that none of the oncologists wear masks for any reason, because it makes it "hard to understand." But it's also hard to understand and remember information when I'm worried about catching COVID from a doctor - and it was hard to trust the doctor's medical opinion on cancer matters when he interrogated me at the end of the appointment about how long I'm planning to wear a mask. I will never go to MD Anderson again, and I will warn high risk patients to go elsewhere if they can, especially if they may need to get chemotherapy and they are concerned about nosocomial infections.

  I was very happy with the care I received from the front desk to the back room. Everyone was very pleasant and very helpful. I had a very good visit. I was even given a little fake plant from one of the ladies who checked me in, I made a comment on how I liked her desk and plants and she insisted I take it, I have never had anyone do that before, they usually just nod their head, and we go on from there. I had never met the DR before, and I was impressed with the amount of time he took to explain how he was going to handle my care so I would understand what was going to happen.

  I truly was amazed by the wealth of information...from the initial check in(New patient) to all the new nursing staff, guidance, and physician interaction. Loved the intercom spiritual message, loved the book that was well put together accompanied by physician and nurses business cards, the care to make sure that I had personal documents to be placed and referrals for any end of life needs (of course just in case). Honestly, the best part was the confidence of my doctor, Dr. Nowicki and his assisting nurse Debbie or maybe it was Michelle (great sense of humor). I met so many wonderfully assisting staff that I could not keep track of all their names. I am a typically upbeat person built on the foundation of my Lord and savior. It was nice to know that they were going to be his tools on the road to my recovery, where ever that may lead. So thank YOU MD Anderson, you took a big heavy load off my chest.

  All of my care was superior! From my first contact up to this point I have felt like I was the only patient. Dr. Nowicki is compassionate and caring above most doctors I???ve met. The staff has been exemplary as well. I never felt like a patient, but more like part of their team. They explained everything, and took the time to let me process my diagnosis so I could move forward quickly. They are irreplaceable!

  Dr. Nowicki is amazing. He tailors his superb care to the patient. He is able to see what the patient values in care and delivers every time. He is extremely knowledgable and is well versed in his field. He was highly recommended to me both from a patient and his colleagues. I would recommend his care to anyone who needed it and would do so exuberantly. This kind of care is not the norm, but in this specialty it is even more refreshing. He makes you feel like family.

  The care and professionalize is phenomenal. I have Never experience such caring service from the time you walk in the facility with the security check-in to the front desk check-in.   The time the doctor spent with me explaining everything in detail. He even took the time to show me the image on the CT scan. I had never met Dr Nowicki before this and he made me feel comfortable to go ahead and have surgery. He performed my surgery and I recently went in for my post op. Same type of care and time.
