The professionalism of staff and my doctor. I appreciated the wait times here. I can???t say that I ever had to wait long after checking in. You guys really have a great system going. My doctor was transparent and made sure I understood every detail along the way. It was bittersweet because this was my last visit and I won???t see my doctor again unless I have issues in the future.

We liked the team approach and the involvement of the nursing staff in communicating with the Doctors. The building itself is beautiful, with huge windows bringing the outdoors in as well as cheerful sunshine. The holiday decorations were tasteful and lovely. All the supporting staff were friendly and welcoming. Necessary procedures were scheduled immediately and we felt their caring attitude.

I went to Dr Gusani for a third opinion and boy am I glad I did! I had another doctor tell me I had 2 tumors in my pancreas and I needed to have my pancreas removed, I had a 2nd opinion that said one of the so-called tumors is a cyst and the other so-called tumor isn't there. Dr Gusani found both so-called tumors and identified both as cysts. Dr Gusani is very thorough, has a great bed side manner, and really cared about my situation. I highly recommend him.

I can???t get over how kind and professional Dr Gusani has been through out my care. His command of not only the surgery but the process give me a chance of beating cancer and extending my life. He looked at my entire medical condition, worked with his whole team to execute the surgery and get the care I specifically need. I just want to thank everyone at MDAnderson that I have interacted with because they have all been exceptional people and make me want to be a better person as well.

Met with Dr Naraj Gusani and his staff. Appointment was somewhat urgent and several days out. Requested more immediate appt. New date obtained within 2 days. Consult was friendly, professional and crystal clear. More tests still needed, appts for them scheduled after consult with a further review scheduled with Dr Gusani. The care and attention to my situation by Dr Gusani and MD Anderson staff is beyond excellent. The expertise is evident and hoped for but the concern and empathy is beyond any expectation. Any doubt about which of the many care options out there is swept away but this great organization, MD Anderson!!

I came to have my pancreas evaluated. The oncologist said based on "his" experience I didn't need an MRI this year. I agreed to his evaluation, but in retrospect that was a bad decision and I believe the Dr should have never made that recommendation. My goal is to make sure if I develop cancer, I find it in stage 1, do what has to be done and get well. Obviously, if I took my valuable time to come to this appointment, I expected to be tested to find out the state of the cyst on my pancreas. There had some previous hiccups which caused a 3 month delay to see the current doctor. So now I'll be wating at least 15 mo or longer to find out. So I don't think your services are working for me at all.

Dr. Gusani is the most incredible doctor I have been blessed with in my life. And I have had many exceptional doctors. Dr. Gusani refused to accept the findings of a radiologist in GA and insisted in doing an MRI and tumor marker blood work. Then once his diagnosis was confirmed he saved my life with his extraordinary surgical skills. Had he not intervened in my care my condition would have been terminal by Christmas. Because of him I have a new lease on life and hopefully many more memories with my family. MD Anderson is blessed to have such a remarkable doctor and person on their staff.
